About Roger Dubuis

Founded in 1995 by the master watchmaker Roger Dubuis and visionary designer Carlos Dias, the Maison represents a rare bridge between centuries-old tradition and radical modernity. While the brand is a contemporary icon, its technical soul dates back to the 1950s, where Mr. Dubuis began his career at Longines before spending 14 years at Patek Philippe’s high-complications workshop. This deep pedigree is why the manufacture remains one of the few in the world to have nearly every movement certified with the prestigious Poinçon de Genève, a hallmark of excellence requiring hundreds of hours of manual hand-finishing.

Initially making its mark with the "Hommage" and "Sympathie" collections—tributes to the golden era of watchmaking—the brand quickly evolved into a pioneer of "Hyper Horology." Following the retirement of Mr. Dubuis in 2003 and the brand’s full acquisition by the Richemont Group in 2016, Roger Dubuis reidentified itself through architectural, skeletonized movements and high-octane innovation.

Today, the legendary Excalibur collection leads this new era, fusing the technical virtuosity of its founder with the "maximalist" spirit of Carlos Dias. Through elite partnerships with Lamborghini Squadra Corse and Pirelli, Roger Dubuis remains a defiant statement of aesthetic audacity for the modern collector.
