About Roger Dubuis
Founded in 1995 by the master watchmaker Roger Dubuis and the visionary designer Carlos Dias, the Maison represents a rare bridge between centuries-old tradition and radical modernity. Before launching his own brand, Mr. Dubuis spent 14 years in the high-complications workshop of Patek Philippe, later becoming a world-renowned restoration expert for the most complex antique timepieces. This deep pedigree is why the manufacture remains one of the few in the world to have nearly every movement certified with the prestigious Poinçon de Genève (Geneva Seal), a hallmark of excellence requiring hundreds of hours of manual hand-finishing.
Initially making its mark with the "Hommage" and the uniquely shaped "Sympathie" collections, the brand quickly evolved into the pioneer of "Hyper Horology." Roger Dubuis is celebrated for its architectural, skeletonized movements that turn mechanical engineering into wearable art—most notably within the legendary Excalibur collection. From the gravity-defying Double Flying Tourbillon to high-octane collaborations with Lamborghini Squadra Corse and Pirelli, the brand fuses the "maximalist" design of Carlos Dias with the technical soul of its founding watchmaker. For the modern collector, a Roger Dubuis timepiece serves as a defiant statement of technical virtuosity and aesthetic audacity.
