Still standing as the oldest Swiss Manufacturer, Vacheron Constantin bears the names of its early founders. An uninterrupted heritage initially established in 1755 by a Swiss Watchmaker Jean Marc Vacheron perpetuated by his grandson Jacques Barthélémi Constantin and François Constantin, a Genevan salesman. Loyal to the spirit of its founders, the brand possesses a unique department of extremely talented watchmakers and métier d’arts experts labeled Les Cabinotiers renowned for their unworldly creations such as the world’s most complicated watch The Berkley Grand Complication. Acquired in 1966 by the Richemont group, the brand participated in the sports watch craze of the 70’s with the Overseas Ref. 222.
